The magazine has been running continuously since 2004, originally quarterly, more recently twice a year, and after achieving a very high peak number of submissions in both poetry and prose the number of prose submissions in particular has dropped off substantially in recent years. Why do you think this is? Is there something we aren't doing as well as we used to, or have people found other more attractive platforms for their stories? How can we attract more high quality prose submissions?
Also, we don't seem to get very many offers of features, such as articles, author interviews or essays about the craft of writing. Again, is there something we could do to improve in this area? We're listening, please talk to us.

This is wonderful, David! I'd been hoping we would begin a forum. It's a perfect way to reach our submitters and to gain new thoughts and suggestions. Can't wait to see who comes on board!

Hello, I have had work in your magazine in the past but was reminded about Gold Dust by a timely Facebook post. I am delighted to have found this forum and shall certainly be submitting in the near future. I have recently re-married and am now publishing under a different name.

Hello Abigail. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Can you remind me what it was you had in the magazine in the past? The change of surname is a bit confusing for me – you're not the Abigail who worked on the magazine in the past are you?
